Born in Japan and raised in San Jose California, Jon Hampton has been playing Bass Guitar since his teens. In the 80’s he played with VALHALLA.

Later Jon joined King Roach and played with other bands like Vivian Campbells River Dogs and Randy Hansen (a Tribute to Jimi Hendrix). He then joined band Knuckle Ride and worked with Producer Alan Rosenberg out of San Francisco. Jon was also a member of Blue Eyed Devil (who’s members have included Lyle Workman and Troy Luketta). Jon next became a member of Dead Poser’s Society (a powerful Stone Temple Pilots Tribute Band) supporting musicians like Eric Martin of Mr. Big & the Eric Martin Band playing clubs and festivals in California. Jon is now a Proud Member of Seven Reasons which have opened for Bon Jovi and others.
